CHANGES TO YOUR REGISTRATION: If you are already registered in Harford County, to assure that your voter registration remains current and active, you should keep the information on your record up to date.
WHEN CHANGES CAN BE MADE:
PARTY AFFILIATION CHANGES - A registered voter may change their party affiliation any time the registration books are open.
ADDRESS AND NAME CHANGES - A registered voter may change their address and/or name any time the registration books are open.
HOW CHANGES CAN BE MADE:
IN WRITING - You can make changes to your Harford County registration by putting the request in writting, along with your signature to Harford County Election Office; 133 Industry Lane, Forest Hill, Maryland 21050. You may use the reverse side of your voters card to submit this information or click here for a voter registration application that can be used for updating your information and mailed by the registration deadline.
THE MVA CONNECTION - When you visit the MVA to make a change of name or address to your driver's license, your new information is shared with the Election Office. With your signed approval, we will automatically update your registration record.
YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION CARD: Once you submit a completed voter registration application or request a change, a voter's notification card will be mailed to you. Along with your name and address, the card will list your party affiliation, the various districts by which you are represented, as well as the precinct number and voting location where you are assigned to vote. YOU ARE NOT CONSIDERED REGISTERED UNTIL YOU RECEIVE YOUR VOTER'S NOTIFICATION CARD.
Although you are not required to have your voter's card on election day we recommend you keep your voter's card handy for easy reference at election time.
